President Sarkissian held a working meeting with the Minister of Health

President Armen Sarkissian held today a working meeting with the Minister of Health Arsen Torossian.

The Minister informed President Sarkissian on the current situation with the outbreak of the new coronavirus in Armenia and trends as well as presented measures taken to prevent and treat that illness. The Minister spoke also of the existing problems.

President Armen Sarkissian stressed the importance of the steps taken for the protection of public health and prevention of the new coronavirus spread.

From the viewpoint of exchange of information and experience, the President highlighted the importance of cooperation with different states and relevant international organizations which might enhance the efficiency of the fight against the disease.

President Armen Sarkissian expressed readiness to assist and support the government on this in every possible way.
