President Armen Sarkissian met with the President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas.

The President of Armenia expressed his gratitude to the President of the Palestinian National Authority and the government for everything they have been doing for the Armenian Church. He noted that the section of the Church of the Holy Nativity administered by the Armenian Apostolic Church is not only part of history and Christianity but also part of Armenia, our culture and heritage, and most importantly, part of the Armenian Church. “I thank you for your assistance in the preservation of the Armenian spiritual and historical heritage, of Christian values,” President Sarkissian said.
