President Sarkissian met with President of the National Council of Switzerland Isabel Moret: historically friendly relations

In the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Armen Sarkissian met with the President of the National Council of the Swiss Confederation Isabel Moret who is also the Chairperson of Switzerland-Armenia parliamentary friendship group.

Recalling warmly her visit to Armenia conducted nearly two years ago, Mrs. Moret noted that Armenia and Switzerland maintain historically formed friendly relations.

The President of Armenia and President of the National Council of the Swiss Confederation spoke about the agenda of the Swiss-Armenian relations, stressed the importance of active parliamentary collaboration, and exchanged views on the opportunities of developing cooperation in the areas of modern technologies and innovations, science, food security as well as implementation of joint programs.

The parties discussed also regional problems.
