Children from border villages of Tavush marz were hosted at the Presidential Palace: each of them is a huge universe
Today, children from Chinary, Aygepar, Movses, Nerqin Karmiraghbyur and Paravaqar communities of Tavush marz as well as children from Shale center in Gyumri were hosted at the Presidential Palace.
Earlier, during his working visits to Tavush and Shirak marzes, the President of Armenia had invited children to the Presidential Palace to participate at the New Year festive events and celebrate the approaching New Year.
A festive show was held for the little guests at the Presidential Palace with multiple games and quizzes. The kids were greeted by President Armen Sarkissian and Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian after which they all together lit the lights on the Christmas tree.
Armen Sarkissian conversed with the kids and inquired about their interests. “Let’s make a deal: next year you all will study well, will behave and be smart so that you can become whatever you want to be, so that our Fatherland is strong and powerful. On my side, I promise to visit you again,” the President said.
In the conversation with the journalists, President Sarkissian noted that he would like to host all children from the regions of Armenia should it had been possible, especially those who need attention much. “All children are gifted, they have a great future and need our general attention. Each of them is a huge universe, have great ideas, and imagination,” the President noted.
Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian said, “Every child is a plant. These little ones are miracles, beautiful, smart, brave, vibrant, and open. I wish that every child in our country is healthy and happy.”
The visit of the children was organized by the Presidential Administration. They were not only hosted at the Presidential Palace but also had the opportunity to watch cartoons at the Moscow movie theater, toured the capital, and received presents from Santa Claus.
