President Sarkissian met with the representatives of the “My Step” fraction of the National Assembly

Today, in the framework of the end-of-the-year series of meetings, President Armen Sarkissian met with the leader of the “My Step” fraction of the National Assembly Lilit Makunts and a group of members of the fraction.

Recently, the President met with the representatives of the “Bright Armenia” and is planning to meet with the representatives of the “Prosperous Armenia” fraction.

At the meeting with the representatives of the “My Step” discussed were issues related to making a cooperation between the presidential and parliamentary institutes closer and turning it into an institutional collaboration. The parties agreed that such a format would promote a coherent and efficient cooperation. They spoke also about the works of the fraction and its legislative activities.

President Sarkissian provided information on a number of presidential initiatives, particularly on some of major international events to be held in Armenia next year-the Armenian Summit of Minds, STARMUS 6th festival and the ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) aimed at the development of science and technology in our country.
The President stressed the importance of the Parliament’s active participation to all these initiatives.
