The founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab invited President Armen Sarkissian to the 50th annual meeting in Davos
The founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab sent a letter to President Sarkissian which reads in particular:
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum, I am pleased to invite you to the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, which will take place in Davos from 21 to 24 January, 2020.
In the 50 years since its creation, the Annual Meeting has become the world’s most impactful high-level gathering, bringing together the leaders from government, international organizations, business and civil society to shape global, regional and industry agendas at the beginning of the year.
You chaired the first World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Energy Security and the Forum considered you to be a Fourth Industrial Revolution visionary.
I would be honoured again welcome you to Davos to drive discussions on technology-specifically the quantum-related agenda - with the foremost experts and business and government leaders.
I look forward to your active engagement and to welcoming you to the Forum’s 50th annual meeting in January.”
It should be noted that back on October 7 in Geneva, at the meeting with the President of Armenia Klaus Schwab said that he was interested in the President’s vision regarding the future and global development and would be glad to listen in the framework of the Davos forum to his ideas regarding new quantum technologies, quantum systems, quantum politics, avenues and trends of development for the contemporary world.
