President of Greece Procopius Pavlopoulos will arrive to Armenia at the invitation of President Armen Sarkissian

On November 5, at the invitation of the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, President of the Hellenic Republic Procopius Pavlopoulos and Mrs. Vlasia Pavlopoulos will arrive to Armenia on official visit.

The official welcoming ceremony will take place at the Presidential Palace and will be followed by a private meeting between President Armen Sarkissian and President Procopius Pavlopoulos. Later, there will take place a meeting of the delegations in the extended format. The Presidents of the two countries will make statements for the media.

The delegation of the President of Greece will visit Mets Eghern, will lay flowers at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and will tour the Institute-Museum of the Armenian Genocide. In the framework of his official visit, President of Greece is to meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian and Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan.

At the Holy See of Saint Etchmiadzin he will be hosted by His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. The delegation of the President of Greece will visit also the research institute of ancient manuscripts, Matenadaran and he will meet with the representatives of the Greek community.
