Newly appointed Ambassador of Guatemala presented his credentials to the President of Armenia

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala Gustavo Adolfo Lopez Calderon (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.

The President congratulated the Ambassador of Guatemala and wished him every success. He stressed the importance of strengthening the relations between the two countries and expressed confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador would make his contribution to the deepening and invigoration of the bilateral relations.

The newly appointed Ambassador underscored that his country is interested in closer relations with Armenia and expanded cooperation in different areas. He expressed readiness to do his best to develop the relations between the two countries.
