Representatives of Airbus company in Armenia will familiarize with the cooperation opportunities

President Armen Sarkissian hosted today the Vice President on defense and space issues Lionel Champeaud and Regional Director of the world-famous Airbus company Vsevolod Kazakov who have arrived to Armenia at the invitation of the President.

“I am glad that you have accepted my invitation and now are here. My task is to open doors for our country, to be useful, and assist with my experience and abilities,” President Sarkissian said welcoming the guests.

He expressed confidence that the representatives of Airbus will have fruitful meetings related to the cooperation in the aviation area. The representatives of the company expressed desire during the meetings in Armenia to familiarize with the prospects of cooperation and opportunities existing in the market. At the meeting, discussed were also issues related to the cooperation in the area of high technologies.

President Sarkissian informed the guests on potential of our country in that area and informed them about the ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) Presidential initiative aimed at the development of science and technologies in our country.
