President Armen Sarkissian hosted delegation of the Italian Confindustria Russia organization

President Armen Sarkissian received today delegation of the Confindustria Russia organization headed by the President of the organizaiton Ernesto Ferlenghi. The guests informed that they have arrived to Armenia to familiarize with the potential and opportunities for cooperation, to establish new business ties.

Confindustria Russia unites Italian companies which work in the Russian market; they also implement joint programs in Russia and Italy. Ernesto Ferlenghi noted that companies engaged in their organization are interested also in the cooperation with Armenia.

President Sarkissian welcomed the visit of the representatives of the Italian companies and their intention to establish cooperation. He noted that Armenia encourages business contacts with Italy and envigoration of practical relations. He underscored that some areas in Armenia, such as infrastructure, agriculture, food producation, tourism, innoviations, and information technologies possess great potential for development and are promising from the viewpoint of a mutually beneficial cooperation. The President of Armenia expressed readiness to assist as much as possible in the establishment and development of business ties.
