President Sarkissian received the Presidents of the IEEE Computer Society and Synopsys Armenia: Discussed were issues related the IT and high technology programs in Armenia

President Armen Sarkissian received today the President of the IEEE Computer Society, Professor of Bologna University Cecilia Metra and President of Synopsys Armenia Ervand Zorian.

At the meeting, the parties discussed programs implemented in Armenia and the ongoing projects in the areas of information and high technologies, current issues and challenges related to programing and computing systems. President Armen Sarkissian noted that Armenia in the area IT can do more considering existing potential. He expressed readiness to support the programs implemented in this area and innovative initiatives and noted that the future depends on them.

IEEE Computer Society is a global computer engineering and programing organization which has over 81,000 members all over the world. It organizes conferences every year, implements educational programs, and publishes materials pertinent to the area.
