Vigorous efforts to support Armenia and Artsakh will continue: President Sarkissian received delegation of the Friends of Artsakh conference titled Cooperation for Justice and Peace

President Armen Sarkissian received today delegation of the Friends of Artsakh conference titled Cooperation for Justice and Peace headed by the former member of the ARF Bureau, Vice President of Socialist International Mario Nalbandian.

Mario Nalbandian informed that the delegation comprises renowned individuals from the countries of Latin America – members of parliaments, former diplomats, public figures who are enthusiasts of developing relations with Armenia and Artsakh. Speaking of the forthcoming meeting in Stepanakert, he noted that the event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Artsakh and Armenian Revolutionary Federation aims at the development of international relations with Artsakh. President Sarkissian welcomed the visit of the representatives of the friendly countries of Latin America to Armenia and Artsakh and thanked the guests for their activities to support Armenia and Artsakh.

“I am glad that your visit involves also Artsakh. In all the countries, which you represent, I have met Armenians, who, particularly after the Mets Eghern, found a new fatherland and became good citizens of that new fatherland. In person of Armenia, Artsakh and the entire Armenian nation you have good friends. I highly value your attitude toward Artsakh,” the President noted and wished their conference in Artsakh productive works.

Participants of the meeting noted that they are united in their love and admiration for Armenia and the Armenian people. They expressed readiness to continue to exercise active efforts for the benefit of Armenia and Artsakh.
