President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili sent a congratulatory message to President Armen Sarkissian on the occasion of Independence Day.

“On behalf of the Georgian people and my own behalf, I would like to congratulate you on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day. I state with satisfaction that Georgia attaches great importance to the development of the relations with Armenia. I hope that the existing friendly relations between our countries will develop further for the benefit of our peoples.

Mr. President, I expect to host you Georgia at any time of your convenience to discuss with you the issues important for our countries. Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration and wishes of peace and prosperity to you and your wonderful country,” reads the congratulatory message of the President of Georgia.
