Newly appointed Ambassador of India presented his credentials to the President of Armenia
Today the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Armenia H.E. Mr. Kishan Dan Dewal presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian. The President congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador and wished him success in the fulfillment of his diplomatic mission in our country.
The President expressed confidence that the Ambassador would work toward strengthening and developing the relations of the two countries which have deep historical and cultural roots. He noted that Armenia and India possess a great potential for deepening the bilateral cooperation and could implement mutually beneficial projects in a number of areas such as new technologies, science, education, culture, and tourism.
In his turn, the Ambassador expressed readiness to do his best to further the bilateral relations.
The interlocutors spoke also about the Armenian community of India and highlighted its role from the viewpoint of solidifying the traditionally friendly relations between the two peoples.
