Ambassador of Germany to Armenia presented his credentials to the President: We would like to see a greater German presence in Armenia

Today the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia H.E. Mr. Michael Johannes Banzhaf presented his credentials to the President of Armenia.

President Sarkissian congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the important mission in our country and wished him every success. Noting that Armenia and Germany have a rather efficient and extended cooperation in various areas, President Sarkissian at the same time underlined that there is a great potential to deepen it further. "We would like to see a greater German presence in the areas of technologies, science, education, and culture," the President said.

Ambassador Michael Johannes Banzhaf in his turn expressed readiness to contribute to the deepening of the Armenian-German relations.
