President Armen Sarkissian visited Narek Avetissian’s exhibition titled “Jajur canvases”

President Armen Sarkissian visited today the exhibition of the artist Narek Avetissian which is named the “Jajur canvases.”

Armen Sarkissian familiarized with the exhibited works. The President spoke with the artist about his father – the beloved artist Minas Avetissian’s creative life and indelible print he made in the history of the Armenian art of painting.

Narek Avetissian told that the influence of President Armen Sarkissian in the creation of the exhibited paintings and organization of the exhibition was great. Armen Sarkissian last year, on the birth anniversary of his father, Minas Aventissian visited his home and studio. “At that time, I had painted only 4 painting of this series. The President inspired me. The visit was compelling, and thus during the next year I worked more confidently,” he said.

President Sarkissian and Narek Avetissian spoke about the artist’s future plans and projects.
