President Sarkissian will participate at the STARMUS science communication and art international festival and the annual session of the Crans Montana International Forum

On June 24, President Armen Sarkissian arrived to Switzerland on a working visit. In Zurich, President Sarkissian will participate at the opening of the international STARMUS science and arts festival and will make a statement. STARMUS, which unites prominent actors from the areas of science, art, and other areas is a unique festival which serves also as a special platform to present through the art the latest achievements in science and to make them more accessible for the general public.

Later, in Geneva the President of Armenia will participate at the opening of the 30th annual session of the prestigious Crans Montana international forum. Armen Sarkissian will be the key speaker at the discussions under the topic “Current Challenges for Peace, Development, and Stability and Advancement of Efficient Cooperation to Overcome Them.”

The Crans Montana Forum is a prestigious platform which promotes cooperation. During its annual events prominent figures from over 100 countries discuss in the informal setting social and economic problems, significant issues pertinent to security.

In the framework of his visit to the Swiss Confederation, President Armen Sarkissian will hold a series of meetings with representatives of scientific and business circles.
