Children-winners of Mental Arithmetic Olympiad were hosted at the Presidential Palace

On the eve of International Children’s Day, a group of kids-winners of the International and Republic Mental Arithmetic Olympiads were hosted at the Presidential Palace.

President Armen Sarkissian received little guests, conversed with them, inquired about their interests. The children told the President of Armenia about their victories at the Olympiads, preferred professions, and dreams. “If you know math well enough, you can become a good dentist, physicist, or a software engineer, anybody, even a good musician. Math is important and necessary for everyone,” the President said, addressing the children.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Sarkissian handed gifts to the kids and expressed confidence that the children would in future give ample opportunities to be proud of them, celebrating events in different international Olympiads.
