President Armen Sarkissian welcomed the famous Armenian-French singer Rosy Armen: In Fatherland, you are loved and admired

President Armen Sarkissian hosted today the famous Armenian-French singer Rosy Armen.

The President noted with satisfaction that Rosy Armen visits Fatherland often where she is loved and her art is admired. “In the past, the relations between Armenia and Spyurk were established also through the individuals like you. Your songs are close to the people’s hearts, and each your visit and visits of other talented Armenians to Armenia truly become a great event,” President Sarkissian said.

The interlocutors spoke about the Armenia-Spyurk relations and agreed that even though the destiny spread our people all over the world, it is also an advantage to gather experience of different countries and our collective power and to channel them towards our country’s development. “Armenia has in every country not one but many ambassadors because each Armenian is the ambassador of our country and our people. We are one nation, and together we can do a lot,” President Sarkissian said.

Rosy Armen in her turn noted that all Armenians all over the world want to see Armenia a strong and prosperous country. She told about her forthcoming projects and spoke about the importance of presenting the Armenian art and culture to the world.

President Sarkissian spoke also about his initiative of organizing concerts, exhibition, and other cultural events at the Presidential Palace and noted that it would have a continuous nature. He expressed readiness in the framework of that initiative to host the much-loved singer.
