President Sarkissian met with the leadership of Bright Armenia fraction

President Armen Sarkissian continues series of meetings with the fractions represented at the National Assembly. Today he met with the leader of Bright Armenia fraction Edmon Marukian and Secretary of the fraction Gevork Gorgissian.

Noting that under the parliamentary system of governance, the National Assembly has much work to do, the interlocutors exchanged views on the activities of the NA, its agenda, and performance at the international platforms.

The members of the National Assembly spoke about Bright Armenia fraction’s legislative work, programs, and priorities.

President Armen Sarkissian stressed the importance of a harmonious cooperation between the legislature and other branches of power and expressed readiness in the scope of the authorities vested in him by the Constitution to cooperate with the parliament and assist in its activities.
