Armen Sarkissian met with the Minister of science, technology and higher education of Portugal

President Armen Sarkissian, who is Portugal on a working visit, met today with the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal Mr. Manuel Heitor.
At the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities of cooperation in the areas of science, education, modern technologies as well as the implementation of joint scientific research programs.

Armen Sarkissian noted that Armenia is interested in Portugal’s program of building a space station for launching satellites since Armenia has a great scientific potential in this area.
