President Armen Sarkissian met with representatives of IBM company

President Armen Sarkissian met today with a delegation headed by the General Manager of IBM for Russian and CIS countries Iris Dzeba.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the framework of cooperation and potential joint programs.

President Armen Sarkissian noted that Armenia is interested in the development of information and digital technologies, particularly in artificial intelligence. He underscored that our country has all prerequisites to become a leader in this area. In particular, Armen Sarkissian noted that Armenia possesses a high-class scientific and educational environment and serves as an important bridge between the East and the West.

The representative of the IBM Iris Dzeba noted that the company in interested in cooperation with Armenia and is ready to discuss the opportunities of joint programs.
