President received NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai

President Armen Sarkissian received today the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai.

The President of Armenia highly praised the current level of the RA-NATO relations and cooperation in the framework of different programs.

James Appathurai in his turn noted that Armenia is Alliance’s stable and trustworthy partner.

The parties stressed the importance of the Armenia-NATO cooperation in different areas, including Armenia’s efficient participation to international peacekeeping missions.
The parties also exchanged views on the regional and international developments.
