President Sarkissian met with the Innovation Editor of the Financial Times John Thornhill

President Armen Sarkissian met today with John Thornhill, the Innovation Editor of the prestigious international daily newspaper the Financial Times, who has a special series of publications dedicated to the impact of new technologies on the contemporary world.

John Thornhill said that he was deeply impressed with Armenia’s ancient history and rich culture which he familiarized with during his visits to historical and cultural sites.

The President of Armenia and John Thornhill spoke about our country’s past and future, particularly about the new ways of development and innovations. President Sarkissian noted that all of it is based on education, and Armenia attaches great importance to education, science, and technologies and encourages young people to present new ideas, master new technologies, and create startups.
