President Armen Sarkissian is confident that the Armenian-Portuguese relations have excellent future

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Portugal Paulo Vizeu Pinheiro (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.

The President of Armenia congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in our country and expressed confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador would employ his experience and skills to develop the friendly relations between the two countries.

Underscoring the close Armenian-Portuguese historical relations, the President expressed confidence that the cooperation of the two countries has excellent future.
Ambassador Pinheiro conveyed to the President of Armenia warm greetings and good wishes from the leader of his country. He assured that he would do his best to deepen the bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest and to develop an active cooperation of the two countries and peoples.
