The Ambassador of Tunisia presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to the Republic of Armenia Mohammed Ali Chihi (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to the President of Armenia. The newly appointed Ambassador conveyed to the President of Armenia warm greetings of the President of Tunisia Beji Caid Al Essebsi.
President Sarkissian congratulated and wished all the best to the diplomat in his responsible mission and expressed confidence that he would have his significant contribution to the development of the Armenian-Tunisian relations and expansion of the bilateral cooperation.
Referring to his meeting with the President of Tunisia Beji Caid Al Essebsi last October in Yerevan, which took place in the framework of the 17th Summit of Francophonie, President Sarkissian said that Francophonie is an international platform where the two countries can also cooperate effectively. The President of Armenia underscored the importance of economic cooperation and as a beginning mentioned the invigoration of reciprocal contacts and study of potential of the two countries.
