President Sarkissian and the newly appointed Ambassador of Uruguay discussed prospects of cooperation

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Carlos Sgarbi Von Steinmann (residence in Tehran) presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.

The President of Armenia congratulated Ambassador Steinmann on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Armenia and expressed confidence that his great diplomatic experience would serve for the benefit of deepening the relations between the two friendly states and would elevated the mutually beneficial cooperation to a qualitatively new level.

President Sarkissian and Ambassador Steinmann stressed in particular the active role of the Armenian community of Uruguay in different areas of the country’s life and its role as a bridge in strengthening the friendship of the states and two peoples.
