President Sarkissian received representatives of the Lazarian Club

President Armen Sarkissian received the First Vice President of the RF State Duma Commission on CIS, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots, Director of the CIS Institute Konstantin Zatulin and a group of members of the newly created Lazarian Club who participated in Yerevan to the works of the first session of the Club.

The President noted that the Lazarian Club might become an efficient platform for various discussions. According to Armen Sarkissian, even though the Armenia-Russian relations are developing steadily, in step with time, they need to be refreshed and broadened, encompassing new areas and programs, engaging the younger generation. The President stressed in particular the importance of using the huge potential existing in the areas of education, culture, and science and getting the most of it.
