President held meetings with Prime Minister Nicol Pashinian and Speaker of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan

President Armen Sarkissian, as he promised, upon his return to Armenia initiated meetings with the leadership of the Government and the National Assembly.

Within this context, President Sarkissian met today at the Presidential Palace with Prime Minister Nicol Pashinian and Speaker of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan.
The parties discussed the situation in the country and avenues to resolve the existing problems. With this regard they stressed the importance of preserving stability in the country and the atmosphere of tolerance.

President Sarkissian welcomed the process of negotiations held lately and stressed that a dialogue is the only way to solve the existing problems and resolve the situation.
The President of Armenia expressed hope that the public and political forces will continue to manifest wisdom and reason and will be guided by the interests of the country, the Constitution, and laws.
