Newly appointed Ukraine Ambassador hands credentials to President Sarkissian
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Armenia Petro Lytvyn today presented his credentials to RA President Armen Sarkissian.
Congratulating the diplomat on assuming the office, President Sarkissian wished him every success and expressed confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador will make an important contribution to the furtherance of the effective Armenian-Ukrainian dialogue.
Ambassador Lytvyn assured that he would do everything possible to strengthen and promote the Armenian-Ukrainian interaction during his tenure.
During the private interview that followed the presentation of credentials, the parties noted that the two peoples are bound together by fraternal and friendly ties, which provide a good basis for the furtherance of cooperation.
