President received delegation headed by the Minister of Energy of Iran

President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian received today delegation headed by the Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Reza Ardakanian.

Welcoming the guests, President Sarkissian noted with satisfaction the dynamically developing relations with the neighboring friendly Iran, the high level political dialogue, and the busy agenda of cooperation.

Minister Reza Ardakanian conveyed to President Sarkissian warm greetings from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani.

The parties exchanged views on the Armenian-Iranian economic agenda, stressed the importance of the efficient implementation of the ongoing joint programs. They concurred that the Temporary Free Trade Zone between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union creates new opportunities for the implementation of multiple programs.
