President Armen Sarkissian received Serzh Tankian and Garin Hovhannissian

President Armen Sarkissian received today a Board member of the Creative Armenia Innovative Cultural Fund, the famous Armenian-American rock musician Serzh Tankian and Founding Director of the Fund Garin Hovhannissian.

Armen Sarkissian hailed Serzh Tankian’s artistic as well as public activities and said, “You are not only a brilliant musician but also a brilliant Armenian, a dignified and proud Armenian.”

Garin Hovhannissian spoke about main goals of the Creative Armenia and areas of its activities. She said that their mission is not limited to developing Armenian culture but also in becoming a platform where talented artists will be revealed and promoted and the promising projects will be implemented.

Noting that arts is the most powerful and tactics-wise is the easiest and affordable tool for paving the way forward, the Board members said that the Creative Armenia thrives to become one of the most dynamic and efficient cultural undertakings.

President Sarkissian welcomed programs and ideas of the Creative Armenia and expressed readiness to assist in their implementation.
