President Sarkissian received the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev

 President Armen Sarkissian received today the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev.

The President welcomed the guest and underscored the role of the CIS in the strengthening and expansion of cooperation among the member states. He stressed the importance of deepening ties in the cultural and humanitarian areas and in that context highlighted the importance of announcing Goris the Cultural Capital of the CIS.

The Executive Secretary of the CIS highly praised Armenia’s involvement in the works of the Organization and expressed satisfaction with the efficient cooperation established between the representatives of Armenia and Executive Secretariat of the CIS.
