On May 2, President Armen Sarkissian spoke on the phone with His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.

The parties expressed concern over the internal situation in the country. In overcoming the impasse, they stressed as critical for all involved political forces to demonstrate the utmost responsibility, wisdom and readiness to solve problems exclusively in the framework of the Constitutions and the law.
