President Armen Sarkissian met with Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan

Guided by the April 17, 2018 decision of the National Assembly on electing Serzh Sargsyan Prime Minister, President Armen Sarkissian signed today a decree on appointing Serzh Sargsyan the Prime Minister of Armenia.

The first meeting of the President and Prime Minister- elect took place today at the Presidential Palace.

The President of Armenia congratulated Serzh Sargsyan and said, “Considering your political career, great organizational experience and skills, personal qualities, I am confident that on that responsible position you will use your entire potential to further develop our Fatherland and improve the life of the people.” The President wished the Prime Minister all the best and productive work.
