Presidency hosts award ceremony on the occasion of Army Day

On the occasion of the Army Day, for dedication and courage shown during the defense of the borders of the Republic of Armenia, as well as for the considerable services rendered to the Fatherland, President of the Republic of Armenia, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Serzh Sargsyan presented a group of servicemen and freedom-fighters with high State awards of the Republic of Armenia, orders and medals, and conferred highest military ranks. The President of the Republic congratulated servicemen and freedom-fighters on the holiday and the receipt of high State awards.

Dear Generals,
Dear Officers,
Dear Freedom-Fighters,

I congratulate you on the Army Day! Today you were conferred upon high State awards and titles. This is the expression of gratitude to you from our people and the State.

You may rest assured that your service and contribution to the defense of Fatherland is very much appreciated. Such official ceremonies come to prove that no one forgotten, nothing is forgotten, and not a single deed of yours went unnoticed. I am sure that our people’s warm attitude has always inspired you to continue your service to Armenia and Artsakh with honor and dignity.

The path you have passed and your impeccable service record pursue one goal, namely to safeguard the security and peace of the Armenian world. Armenia lives and works thanks to you and your comrades-in-arm.

Step by step, the cherished dreams of our people are being fulfilled. With this conviction and understanding, Armenia will continue along its millennia-long path toward a brighter future.
