President hosted at Andranik Margaryan Political School
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan met with the academic and expert community at Andranik Margaryan Political School. At a meeting held about a year and a half after the Republican Party’s announcement on the establishment of the RPA political school, the President thanked all those who have spared no time and effort to impart to the students their experience and knowledge.
Noting that he had had regular meetings with the students at the political school, the President stressed the importance of holding a separate meeting with the teaching staff who, like the students, are representatives of different professions and different political forces or are non-partisans.
The President of Armenia suggested the participants submitting their own opinions and suggestions on the effectiveness, activities and prospects of the Andranik Margaryan Political School. At the same time, Serzh Sargsyan expressed willingness to answer their questions, listen to their comments and approaches.
The School’s lecturers emphasized the importance of this educational platform and went on to express readiness to continue sharing their knowledge, experience and skills with the students and, thereby, contribute to the development of the school. They believed it quite useful and expedient to hold such free and easy discussions on topical issues.
The participants asked the President about his views on Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, the regional developments, the prospects of relations with neighboring countries, the current status of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement talks, the ongoing reform process in Armenia and a number of other issues.
