President attends festive events dedicated to Artsakh Republic independence proclamation

President Serzh Sargsyan participated in festive events dedicated to the 26th anniversary of proclamation of the Artsakh Republic in Stepanakert, the capital of the Republic of Artsakh.

Accompanied by President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan, the official delegation of the Republic of Armenia and several guests from abroad, Serzh Sargsyan joined the solemn march from Renaissance Square all the way through to the Stepanakert Memorial to pay tribute to the memory of those heroes who perished for Artsakh’s independence.

Later today, President Sargsyan attended a festive reception in capital Stepanakert, followed by a gala concert dedicated to the proclamation of Artsakh’s independence held at Renaissance Square.
