President Sargsyan received the Secretary of the RF Security Council

President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Secretary of the RF National Security Council Nikolay Patrushev.

The parties noted with satisfaction that the strategic interstate relations of the Armenian and Russian peoples based on strong friendship are developing dynamically; the agenda of cooperation is expanding by year which is greatly supported by the high-level visits. In the Armenian-Russian relations at the bilateral as well as multilateral levels, the President of Armenia and the Secretary of the RF National Security Council stressed the importance of cooperation in the area of security.

President Sargsyan highly valued the interaction level between the Secretariat of the RA National Security Council and the Staff of the RF National Security Council and expressed hope that this visit of Nikolay Patrushev will give a new impetus to the strengthening and deepening of the ties between these two structures and the interstate relations in the area of security in general.

The parties spoke also about the pressing international problems and challenges in the rapidly changing world, regional developments, the current stage of the NK peace process, as well as about other issues of mutual interest.
