President attended the jubilee concert dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Armenia’s National Philharmonic Orchestra

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan and Mrs. Rita Sargsyan attended the jubilee concert at the Aram Khatchaturian Concert Hall dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Armenia’s National Philharmonic Orchestra.

By the decree of the President of Armenia, the Creative Director and Chief Conductor Eduard Topchian was awarded the Second Degree Medal For Merit to the Fatherland for his significant contribution to the musical art and on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Armenia’s National Philharmonic Orchestra. The tuba player of the orchestra Vagharshak Pepanian and the concertmaster of the trumpet players’ group Shahen Gevorkian was awarded the honorary title of the RA Distinguished Artist.
