President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the EPP Summit in Brussels

President Serzh Sargsyan, who is in the Kingdom of Belgium on a working visit, today in Brussels participated at the Summit of the European People’s Party (EPP). The Summit was chaired over by President of EPP Joseph Daul. Also present at the Summit were the Presidents of the European Council Donald Tusk and European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, Heads of states and governments of the EU member states and heads of the parties from the countries represented in Eastern Partnership program.

The participants of the Summit discussed current economic problems and prospects of development, spoke about present international challenges, including the crisis in Syria, problems of refugees, which have become a serious issue for Europe, political situation in the EU member states, and issues related to the EU neighborhood policy.
