President Serzh Sargsyan observed Armenia’s Chess Championship

Today, the President of RA, Chairman of Armenia’s Chess Federation Serzh Sargsyan at the Tigran Petrossian Chess House observed the 76th Chess Championship of Armenia among men and the 71st Chess Championship among women which is being conducted он January 11-24. The tournament is conducted in cycles – 11 rounds for men, and 9 rounds for women. There are twelve men competing in this Championship, among them 9 grand master and 2 international masters, while there are 10 female chess players, including 3 international masters. The winners of the tournament will be included in the national teams.
