We wish that all your dreams come true in the New Year. We also wish that this vacation period give you new, exciting vigor so that you are able to study even better, so that you become worthy and dignified citizens of our country. Dear children, I also wish that on these and similar days you are filled with festive mood, so that you become happier, optimistic, so that you become ready to take on good deeds. I want you to be sure that your parents and all adults in general will do their best so that you grow up happy, so that you accept life with optimism, so that you be kind persons because it is the kind people who make this world a better place, it is the optimists who make this world a better place. Evil and hypocrisy do not create good things. We want, you, dear children, to come to this place several years later in a totally different capacity. I wish that you make proud not only your parents but our entire nation, just as kids with excellent academic performance, winners of the Republican and international completion do it every year, they make proud us all. I want guys present here have as much as success as, let’s say, Henry Mkhitarian, Levon Aronian. We want you to live under peaceful skies, we wish that your parents have much more time and opportunity to expand your knowledge, your horizons.
Present here are mostly children from border communities. Above all, we all want peace. No matter where you live in Tavush or in Yerevan – peace is the equally precious to both, because war, dear children, is a nasty thing. Our wish is that you never ever here any shots. We will do our best to make it true. The best things in the world are books. I want you to be strong, first of all – boys. I want our girls to be very caring, like their mothers and grandmothers, I want them to be beautiful, accurate so that in a distant future you have beautiful and accurate kids like yourselves.
I congratulate you once again on this very merry holiday, and you all will promise to be joyful. We must be joyful to accomplish good deeds. You and your peers are the future of our country. I once again congratulate you on the occasion of this brilliant, one of the best holidays there is,” said the President of Armenia.
