President Serzh Sargsyan conducted a working visit to the north-eastern border area

The President of Armenia, Commander-in-Chief Serzh Sargsyan today left for a working visit to the defense positions at the north-eastern border area of the Republic of Armenia. Accompanied by the Minister of Defense and the highest command of the RA Armed Forces, the President of Armenia toured military units, visited the defense positions, observed firsthand the combat readiness of the troops and the ongoing process of army building.

The President of Armenia was present at the exhibition training with the participation of the units of the Second company, received the report of the commander pertinent to the situation in the units under his command and to existing problematic issues.

In one of the military units, the President participated in the opening ceremony of a new canteen built for the servicemen.
