President receives director of the border protection department of the Border Service of the RF FSS N. Kozik and head of the Border Protection department of the RF FSS in Armenia A. Mikheev

President Serzh Sargsyan today received Nikolay Kozik, the director of the Border Protection Department of the Border Service of the RF Federal Security Service (FSS) and Anatoly Mikheev, the head of the Border Protection Department of the RF Federal Security Service in Armenia.

At the outset Nikolay Kozik presented the new head of Border Protection Department of the RF FSS in the RA and his path of service to the RA President.

Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Major-General Mikheev on his appointment, wished him success and assured that in case of necessity the RA authorities were always ready to support him during his tenure. Underscoring that the strategic partnership with the Russian Federation encompassed all the fields of cooperation, the RA President attached great importance to the close collaboration between the border troops of the two countries.

At the meeting the interlocutors touched upon the joint activities of the RF Border Protection Troops in the RA and Armenian border guards towards the protection of state borders and security under the interstate agreement.
