President convenes session of National Security Council

Within the framework of military strategic “Shant-2015” command and staff exercises RA President, Chairman of the RA National Security Council Serzh Sargsyan this evening convened a simulated session of the National Security Council according to the scenario of the exercises to inform about the ongoing situation around the Republic of Armenia.

During the session the members of the National Security Council delivered speeches and made proposals stemming from the simulated scenario and scenario-based instructions were given to the appropriate state agencies.

The RA President attached importance to the military exercises from the perspective of acting operatively and effectively in certain situations and testing the skills and the level of preparedness of the state agencies in such situations.

To remind, the session of the National Security Council was convened within the framework of military strategic “Shant-2015” command and staff exercises.
