Newly-appointed Polish ambassador to Armenia hands over his credentials to President
Ezhi Novakovski, the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Armenia, today handed over his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
The President congratulated Ambassador Novakovski and wished him success in fulfilling his diplomatic duties in our country. At the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the fact that interstate relations between Armenia and Poland are rooted in historical friendship, and the current high-level political dialogue fully corresponds with the desires of the Armenian and Polish peoples.
The interlocutors agreed that high-level reciprocal visits, regular political consultations and active cultural exchanges allow gradually, but confidently increasing trading volumes in the economic sector and broadening collaboration which, according to them, possesses considerable potential.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed the hope that during his tenure, the newly-appointed ambassador will give a new breath of fresh air to Armenian-Polish relations and will further intensify bilateral economic ties, bringing them to conformity with the present high level of political relations.
The Armenian President and the Polish ambassador also reflected upon Armenia-EU relations and the ways to promote cooperation. Ambassador Ezhi Novakovski assured that Poland is ready to support Armenia in enhancing those relations.
