President holds consultation over crime committed in Gyumri

President Serzh Sargsyan today held an urgent phone consultation with the heads of law-enforcement bodies over the terrifying crime committed in Gyumri. During the consultation, the importance of revealing the details in the shortest time possible, catching the transgressors and holding them strictly responsible was stressed. The headquarters of the Russian military base in Armenia is closely cooperating with Armenia’s law-enforcement bodies and is actively supporting the investigation of the case.

At present, all the necessary steps are being taken aimed at catching the criminal who have committed the barbarity. The process is under the direct supervision of the Armenian President.

The President expresses his deepest sympathy and support for the relatives of the victims, sharing their boundless grief and sorrow.
