President Serzh Sargsyan meets Chinese Ambassador to Armenia

President Serzh Sargsyan today received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia Tian Changchun on the occasion of finishing his diplomatic mission in our country.

The president thanked the ambassador for his effective activity aimed at strengthening Armenian-Chinese relations during his tenure and underscored the high level of relations between the two countries, especially stimulating Armenian-Chinese cooperation in a number of mutually beneficial spheres in recent years, intensifying mutual visits at various levels, expanding the legal and contractual field and recording certain growth in trade circulation. Serzh Sargsyan attached great value to Tian Changchun’s personal contribution to all that.

Ambassador Changchun thanked the Armenian President for his appreciation and kind words and noted that it had been with the greatest pleasure to fulfill his diplomatic mission in Armenia, a country which left the best impression on him, remaining friends with the Armenian people and Armenia.
