President hosts Catholicos of All Armenians and Catholicos of Great House of Cilicia

President Serzh Sargsyan today hosted His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.

In the run up to the two most important events, the 5th Ecclesiastical Assembly and the 5th Armenia-Diaspora Conference, to be held in Yerevan the Armenian President, the Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians and the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia touched upon national issues and challenges faced by Armenians all over the world and the motherland, including the joint efforts at supporting our compatriots in Syria still trapped in a difficult situation, discussed issues concerning the activities aimed at preservation of national identity in Armenian colonies and state-church relations and cooperation.
